COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — South Carolina women's basketball legend A'ja Wilson, a two-time WNBA MVP, is adding another accolade to her already long list of accomplishments.
On Saturday, before her return to Colonial Life Arena, Wilson announcing she will release a signature shoe with Nike.
Wilson's Nike A'ONE shoes will release in 2025. Wilson arrived to Colonial Life Arena with a shirt saying "Of course I have a shoe dot com."
A post on X from ESPN says she is the first Black WNBA player since 2010 to get a signature shoe.
Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces are in Columbia to play a preseason game against the Puerto Rican national team.
