A Yakuza: Like a Dragon Switch release would drastically increase the number of potential players of the eighth mainline Yakuza game. Given the series' madcap nature, it wouldn't be totally out of its comfort zone on Nintendo's semi-portable system. Here's what we know about a potential port.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon Switch: Will Like a Dragon Come to the Switch?

Despite not having made it to the West yet, Yakuza: Like a Dragon has already been released on the PlayStation 4 in Japan. That release took place in January. The worldwide release of the game is scheduled for the 2020 holiday season, when it will appear as a launch title for the Xbox Series X.

The holiday release window will also bing a worldwide PlayStation 4 and PC release.

To date, developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and publisher Sega have yet to announce plans for a Nintendo Switch release. Nothing so much as a rumor has pointed to the possibility. It's possible a port could arrive later down the line, but a release alongside the other platforms seems unlikely at best.
