I transfer MP3 files (which I download from the internet) from PC to my mobile ZTE Orange. Most of the files do not respond when I try to play them, but on my PC they are OK.

May be they have extensions like .MP3 or are a bit of other kind. Some phones don't play even if they are mp3 looking alright to play. Same problem I've also faced. I'll recommend Total Video Converter to convert them (it's trial version). Or you can try any other free software. BOL.
