Red Dead Online's best shotgun is pretty well known. While Red Dead Redemption 2 had a wide variety of weapons that were viable, online there is less leeway.

Red Dead Online Best Shotgun
The best shotgun for Red Dead Online players is the Repeating Shotgun. It costs $434 and is unlocked at Level 11.
This gun has an ammo capacity of six rounds, and can use Regular Buckshot, Incendiary Buckshot, Slug and Explosive Slug shotgun ammo.
Recently, Rockstar Games added roles to the game to add more dynamic gameplay and some RPG elements. Red Dead Online players are now able to choose from three roles: bounty hunter, trader and collector. Each will come with unique gameplay, outfits, weapons and other rewards.
