Want a free blimp ride? Subway has a blimp that’s on tour, and next up is South Florida.

To promote its new deli subs, Subway is providing free rides to 64 people. Registration, which can be found at register.subwayinthesky.com, opens at 8 a.m. Thursday, and the rides will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Rides will be available Sunday, Sept. 24, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and Tuesday, Sept. 26, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Twenty-four people will receive rides on Sunday, and 40 will receive rides on Tuesday.

The blimp rides will take off from Pembroke Pines and will last about 75 minutes. Riders will get views of South Florida from 1,000 feet in the air and the opportunity to eat some of the newly released subs.

So far, the “Subway in the Sky” blimp has given trips to 120 people in Kansas City and Orlando. The ride reservations all booked in under two minutes for those trips, said Sarah O’Connor-Guffey, a Subway spokesperson.
