The Cornell Museum of Art and History at Old School Square will present two exhibits that feature tennis as a theme beginning Jan. 28 through March 8.
A sculpture exhibit from realist J. Clayton Bright and a traveling exhibit from the International Tennis Hall of Fame will coincide with the Virginia Slims Tennis Tournament.
The International Hall of Fame’s contribution will feature memorabilia that includes turn of the century tennis clothing and rackets from other periods. Bright’s bronze sculptures capture ordinary moments in the game.

LOOKING FOR HISTORIANS
Remember when Delray Beach was bigger than Boca Raton? When Ocean Ridge, Highland Beach and Manalapan didn’t even exist?
If you do, we want to know about it — 24 hours a day. The Sun-Sentinel is looking for south Palm Beach County residents who have lived in the area for 25 years or more and have stories they want to share about South Florida history.
Call our 24-hour line at 243-6558 and leave your name and telephone number, plus a brief description of your tale. We will call you back you within the week. Anecdotes — both humorous and serious — will be printed on this page as a regular feature.
