FIRST TEAM
Macy Croteau, pole vault, King’s Academy junior: Captured five wins this season and set a new PR (2.71m) in the event; career highlight was competing at regional to the best of her ability; also, a competitive cheerleader for the Lions.
Avery Fronrath, 1,600/3,200, King’s Academy junior: Team captain broke a 17-year-old school record with a PR in the 3,200 meters (10:58.19) at the Pepsi Relays; also set a PR at Class 2A state meet (5:07.05) in the 1,600, finishing seventh; first-year medaling in both events at state also finishing eighth in 3,200.
Bay’Andria Hodges, 100, Glades Central senior: The Tennessee Tech University commit is the school-record-holder in the 100-meter dash (11.98); team MVP for four years straight; state qualifier placed sixth in 100 this year; most proud of now having to pay for college and being able to compete at D1 level.
Jordan Johnson, 800, Pahokee eighth grader: Won medals in both middle school state meet (first, 2:19.85) and high school state meet (fifth, 2:21.20) in the 800; also, set PR in 400 (56.98), and 200 (26.09); helped 4×400 and 4×800 relay teams qualify for state; competed in AAU Junior Olympics six years in a row.
Akari Marshall, 200, Oxbridge Academy freshman: Finished fourth in the 200 meters in the Class 1A state meet to help ThunderWolves to a third-place team finish; was a member of both the state runner-up 4×100 and 4×400 relay teams; had a PR of 24.84 in the 200.
Octavia Massena, TJ/400, Oxbridge Academy junior: Competed in the state meet in the triple jump for the first time and placed fourth; also, placed fourth at state in 400 and member of runner-up 4×400 relay team; won the county title in TJ; best times of 24.92 (200), 56.37 (400) and jumps of 11.86 (triple jump) and 4.36 in (long jump).
Layla Perez, 100H/400H, Pahokee senior: The Edward Waters University commit won districts all four years in 100-meter hurdles; has personal best time of 15.64 and finished 10that state; has PR of 1:10.51 in 400H; most proud of reaching state and getting college offers.
Jamaria Richardson, 100/400, Pahokee eighth grader: Holds multiple middle school (LJ, 100m, 1,500M, and 1,600m) and high school records (400m, 1,600m), and three stadium marks for the Blue Devils; PRs are 12.36 (100), 26.26 (200), 56.73 (400); finished sixth in 400 and 14th in the 100; only middle schooler to compete in 100 and 400 at high school meet.
Victoria Schrubb, HJ, St. Andrew’s senior: The Columbia commit finished with the best jump (1.68m) in Palm Beach County after overcoming an early season back injury; Two-year captain and school record holder placed fourth at Class 2A state meet; also competed in javelin, hurdles, soccer, cross country, and volleyball.
Asia Scott, shot put/discus, Pahokee senior: County champion in the discus and runner up in the shot put; placed seventh in the shot put at state; named female scholar-athlete at her school; career highlight was the first time breaking 11 meters in the shot; has PRs of 11.50 (shot put), 33.44 (discus) and 20.62 meters (javelin); played volleyball and weightlifting.
Amiyah Williams, LJ/TJ, Oxbridge Academy senior: Finished sixth in Class 1A meet in the long jump and seventh in the triple jump; took second in Palm Beach County meet, districts, and regionals in TJ; personal bests in LJ (5.33m), TJ (11.30m) and high jump (1.67).
Tianna Demeritte, HJ, King’s Academy senior: Won regional title in the high jump and placed fourth at state in the event (1.57m); set new PR in 100H at regional (16.77); also, has a PR in the 400 with a 1:02.41 clocking.
Jailyn Milord, 400, FAU High sophomore: Second-year runner made states and set a PR in the 400 (55.70) finishing fourth; was seventh at 2A state meet in 200 (24.83); also competed in 4×400; able to trim nearly eight seconds of freshman best (1:03.46) in 400.

Bayardo Sinclair, Oxbridge Academy: Led ThunderWolves girls team to first Palm Beach County championship and a third-place finish at the Class 1A state meet, just two points behind winner Maclay. “This season our goal was simple, have a clear vision for the state championship and maximize every opportunity to sharpen our ability so we can execute when it matters most. When we are at our best, we are very difficult to beat. We focused on the 4 Ps – Push (give our best effort), Pace (pace ourselves to ensure we maximize our development), Position (always be within striking distance of the competition), and Poise (remain composed under pressure).”
