JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Tayang di Netflix mulai 1 April, What a Girl Wants menceritakan kisah seorang remaja yang nekat mencari keberadaan sang ayah di London.
Sejak kecil, Daphne Reynolds (Amanda Bynes) terbiasa menjalani hari-harinya tanpa kehadiran sosok ayah.
Meski sudah terbiasa dengan keadaan ini, Daphne tidak dapat memungkiri dirinya sering merasa sedih dan kesepian.
Langkah ini diambil oleh Henry atas nasihat Alistair Payne (Jonathan Pryce), yang juga mengincar kursi Perdana Menteri untuknya.
Namun di balik kesetiaan Alistair pada keluarga Dashwood, ia memiliki agenda untuk meraup keuntungan dari mereka.
Tugas Daphne pun bertambah berat, tak hanya harus memperkenalkan dirinya pada Henry, ia juga harus melidungi sang ayah dari rencana jahat Alistair.
