Jedi Fallen Order's planets are numerous and varied. They're also the focus of one of the first major choices players get to make in the new Star Wars game: Should you go to Zeffo or Dathomir first? Here's what you need to know to make the decision.

Jedi Fallen Order Planets: Should You Go to Zeffo or Dathomir First?

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order offers two planets as potential destinations fairly early in the game. The decision reveals the game's obvious Dark Souls influence in that players can make their own path. Regardless of which planet the player chooses, they'll have to go back and explore the other eventually.

That isn't to say the decision doesn't matter. Going to Zeffo first lines up more clearly with the game's story, and the difficulty there is more appropriate for that point in the game.

Going to Dathomir, on the other hand, is much more difficult. The reward for taking the challenge on earlier is a lightsaber upgrade that will be useful through the rest of the game.

So if you're looking for a more natural difficult progression, head to Zeffo. If you're a glutton for punishment, take on Dathomir.
