Edna Oliveira peers into the Hotbins store in Tamarac on Friday April 7, 2023 to try and get a glimpse of the merchandise. Some people show up as early as 5:00 a.m. even though the stores does not open until 9:00 a.m. Fridays at the store are when the newest stuff from the most-recently arrived pallets go up for sale for $12 a piece. Shoppers race in and fill up their carts with products that could have originally sold for much more.
