Before, he played for the New York Giants for seven years where he won the Super Bowl and was named to three Pro Bowl teams during play with the Giants, but did not take part in the play since he had an injury. In addition, on July 28 he left the New York Giants and later announced to the public his retirement on September 3, 2012.
