Shane Bacon is a journalist now serving for the Golf Channel as a host and play-by-play announcer in Phoenix. Before joining Golf Channel, Shane Bacon served at FOX Sports as a host and play-by-play commentator for five years. Additionally, Shane Bacon hosts “The Clubhouse with Shane Bacon”  prominent players both off and on golf space. Shan likes going out with his family, watching sports, traveling, and playing golf during his free time.

Previously, Shane served at FOX Sports as a host and play-by-play announcer for five years, where he covered the championships of USGA.  Bacon started his professional career in 2008 as a journalist when he was hired for the AOL FanHouse website as a sportswriter.

Three years later he left the website, Shane Bacon joined  CBS Eye on Golf blogs and the Yahoo Sports Devil Ball Golf. In 2014, He left the Blogs and was hired in Connecticut a golf and lifestyle cable channel as an On-Air personality. While at the station Bacon also co-hosted on the network a program known as “The Turn”. In 2006, He served as a caddie in Scotland at the historic St. Andrews links course.
