In this Resident Evil Village cooking guide, we’ll list every recipe and show you where to find every ingredient, from the standards like Fish, Poultry, and Meat to rare ingredients like Quality Meat and Juicy Game.

Herbed Fish

Reward: Health slightly increased permanently.

  • Chickens roam The Village in three locations. Kill them for poultry. Graphic: Dave Tach/Polygon | Source images: Capcom via Polygon
  • Fish (3). After you defeat the Lady Dimitrescu, and you’re on your way back to The Village, drop into the water, where you’ll find three fish. If you missed those, head north from The Village, through the Castle Gate, as if you were heading back to Castle Dimitrescu. You’ll find three fish in the water by the drawbridge.
  • Poultry (2). Check out the map in the gallery above, where you’ll find three locations to “hunt” chickens in The Village.

Bird and Beast Pilaf

Reward: Damage taken when guarding decreases permanently.

  • Meat (1). In The Village’s West Old Town, head to the house in the south near the crash site where you entered at the beginning of the game (see the map image in the gallery above). Enter the door at the side (to the left of the front door). Stop when you get in, let your eyes adjust to the light, and look right toward the far end the of the stable. There’s a small black pig. Shoot it, and collect your Meat (2). After you’ve conquered House Beneviento, return to The Duke, and then backtrack as if you were heading to the … dollhouse. In the area labeled Garden on your map, you’ll find a goat to kill for Meat (2).

Three-Flavored Mititei

Reward: Health increases permanently.

Hop out the back window where you met the angry father early in Resident Evil Village, and you’ll see a well and also a giant white pig. Kill it, and claim your Quality Meat.
