Respawn Entertainment revealed its next playable Legend to be Rampart on Thursday, and some Overwatch fans may have heard a familiar voice when she appeared in the Season 6 trailer. Respawn Entertainment confirmed later that day what the keen-eared among us already knew: actress Anjali Bhimani, best known among gamers for her role as Symmetra in Overwatch, plays Rampart.
"What's up, Legends?" Bhimani wrote in a retweet of the announcement. "Sheila and I are ready to rumble," she continued, using the name Rampart assigned her gun.

Bhimani has played Symmetra in Overwatch since 2016, but Rampart is the first time since then she's played a central role in a major video game. She has leaned into her role as Symmetra, cosplaying as her at Anime Expo 2019 and frequently making appearances with other members of the Overwatch cast.

Rampart will arrive in Apex Legends Season 6, scheduled for launch Aug. 18.
