He and his brother Christopher started a tradition of sneaking into a parade on the fourth of July each year, playing Yankee Doodle Dandy on their trumpets. - He is a graduate of DePaul University Goodman School of Drama with a B.A. in Acting (class of 1987). Later, he received a M.A. in Speech, Radio, Television, and Film from Northwestern University (class of 1988) & also studied meteorology at Mississippi State University. He says his background in drama helps him deal with on-air drama queens and “has really paid off.”
- Currently, Paul is the father of four children, he spends a lot of time playing hide-and-seek, frequently getting work done in a closet while the children search for him. “Lately they have been onto me and I can’t get anything done.”
