Can Mad Max: Fury Road just hit theaters already? I spent a good deal of time watching and re-watching the clips that dropped last night and now there's a whole batch of new images to examine. They're all absolutely stunning, but the one odd quality of a good deal of them is that they seem to be stripped of color, even though the clips released yesterday suggest that the film is especially vibrant. But again, these shots are all pretty incredible and, odds are, I will likely spend too much time staring at them today.

Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa. They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.
