This 8-year-old upscale popular Mexican chain has launched its first happy-hour food menu from 4-7 p.m. daily.
All libations are still $2 off, including the new chili mango with mezcal and The Zarzamora with tequila and blackberries.
“You will see things like our new huevos diablos, our take on a traditional deviled eggs, as well as some of our more well-known items like our flautas and nachos,” co-owner Rocco Mangel says. “Our chicharones that are served with Rocco’s fuego habanero sauce and house-made crema were created specifically for happy hour. All of the other items on our bar-bites menu are available on our regular menu.”
Seven items are offered for $7 each, such as empanadas de picadillo; flour tortillas with shimp sauteed in tequila and rojo chipotle butter sauce, called camarones Patron; crispy jalapeno rellenos; and skillet queso fundido with tortillas and choice of carne molida or chorizo.
