MLB The Show 21 Diamond Dynasty: What to Expect?

The goal of Diamond Dynasty is to build a team of present-day All-Stars and legends of the game by acquiring player cards. These cards can be obtained by simply playing the game, either online or in the many offline modes. Every card can be acquired in this manner, meaning that there will be no "pay to win" model where the better cards cost real money.

For the first time ever in MLB The Show 21, players will be able to take their created Road to the Show player out of the game mode and import them into other modes. This includes Diamond Dynasty, where players can their RTTS player to their online roster. It is possible to have multiple RTTS saves with different players, so it will be interesting to see if there is a cap on how many created players can be added to a Diamond Dynasty roster.

Another new feature to MLB the Show 21 is the Stadium Creator coming to the next-gen versions of the game. The Stadium Creator allows players to create their dream ballpark to the very last detail, whether it be wall dimensions or the scenery in the outfield concourse. The Stadium Creator can also be used in Diamond Dynasty to create custom home fields for your team.

MLB The Show 21 arrives April 20 and will be available on Xbox consoles for the first time in the series' history. Players who pre-order either Jackie Robinson Edition of the game will be granted four days early access.
