Her daughter DeEtte and her husband Dan Walters of Hemingford, as well as her grandchildren Cole (Danielle) Walters and Elijah Walters, are the only members of Mary’s family who have survived her passing. Mary is survived by her son Rany Sample of Las Cruces, New Mexico, as well as her grandchildren Sherman Bilbo and his wife Jeanie of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Renee Matthews and her husband Steve of Orlando, Florida, Mike Sample
Toby Sample, and Lorie Sample, all of Las Cruces, New Mexico. There are seven generations of great-grandchildren and five generations of great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Fred Sample, her daughter Louise Bilbo, her grandson Orin Sample, and her daughter in law, Belvia Sample, all passed away before her. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is also survived by her sisters, Willetta Hamar of Crawford, Betty Calder of Lincoln, Danniece Stull of Morrill, NE; sister-in-law
Jean Riggs of Kearney; and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bernadene Halle of Cheyenne, WY, Connie (Rich) Stricker of Hemingford, Rick (Jean) Sample of Crawford, Rhonda (Dave) Swanson of Hemingford and Tammy (Gary) Griffee of Alliance; numerous nieces and nephews and her special friends, Georgia and Norman Ring of Minatare. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her time with her offspring.
