Mark Bado was recently named the new general manager and COO at Mizner Country Club in Delray Beach.
He will oversee all club activities and day-to-day operations of the country club community in his new position. He joins Mizner Country Club from the Houston Country Club in Houston, Texas, where he served in a similar role for the past three years.
Bado said his priorities include involvement with the membership, the board and his management team.
“I am excited to be part of Mizner Country Club’s community,” he said. “I look forward to leading the club on its continuing journey to elevate its position as a national leader in the country club community market.
“I aim to continue enriching both the membership and the staff experience, along with heightening the club’s brand,” Bado said. “I also look forward to working with an outstanding team and a committed board of directors as we continue to enhance a superior lifestyle for our current and future members.”
Bado’s previous stops included the Myers Park Country Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he was general manager and COO. Bado also helped oversee the Oakmont Country Club’s major golf tournament, including Men’s and Women’s US Opens, while he was working there.
