Riot Games made a number of updates around lore behind Ionia, and has specifically touched on Karma, Lee Sin, and Riven in the recent updates of champion biographies.
Lee Sin, Karma and Riven, join Yasuo and Irelia with their updated lore. Lee Sin's new biography goes into the deeper details of his past and how he wandered to find Udyr in the Frelijord. The two battled against the invading Noxian forces to defend the holy monastery at Hirana.
Karma's biography also points to digging deeper into the Ionia-Noxus conflict, and how she now lives in the post-Noxus invasion world. Riven's new biography explores her life as an orphan in depth, and goes into the tragic story that made her who she is.
