Keelin Woods Obituary News: Victim, suspect identified in fatal Red Roof Inn shooting; Tommy Gray arrest & charges.
The man who was shot and killed on Saturday afternoon at the Red Roof Inn is now identified as a 26-year-old from Chicago, authorities announced on Monday.
According to Rebecca Mayes, the deputy coroner for Allen County, Keelin Woods passed away from a gunshot wound to the torso. His manner of death has been ruled a homicide.
After the incident, Wood was transferred to a nearby hospital and was listed as being in “critical condition, imminent death.”
21-year-old Tommy Gray has been placed under arrest on first accusations of attempted murder, murder, and fleeing the scene in relation to the gunshot. While awaiting extradition, he is being detained in Louisville, Kentucky.
Investigation is ongoing.
