KARD (카드; also stylized K.A.R.D or K♠RD) is a South Korean pop co-ed group under DSP Media. The group debuted on July 19, 2017 with 4 members: B.B, Jiwoo, J.Seph, and Somin.
Each letter of the name KARD (K.A.R.D) represents a playing card. ‘K’ is for the King that represents BM. ‘A’ is for the Ace card that represents J.Seph. ‘R’ is for both the black and colored jokeR, which represent Somin and Jiwoo. ‘D’ is for a hiDden card and can mean a lot of different things.
The official fandom name of KARD is Hidden Kard. Its meaning is that similar to how the group’s name wouldn’t be complete without the D (hidden card), KARD wouldn’t be complete without their fans.
