He was born on 18th may 1960 in Tennessee. He was born to Jewish parents. He also had a sister called Ann Shulman and she is an American actress and is known for the role of Yoga Jones in Orange is the New Black. He graduated from Vanderbilt Law School in 1982. His father John Shulman is a basketball coach at University of Tennessee.
Career of Jim shulman.
He began his service as a chief legal counsel for the department of Finance and administrator in the state. Moreover he spent six years as a Chief of staff. And also he was a part of the state safety Net during the TenCare reform. And in 1999 he was appointed to a Nashville Metro Council. And he was re-elected in 2003. And when he was the president of the Council he saw the matters of the city’s budget, transit and public works committee. And he is the executive director of Tennessee board on aging and disability too.
