Also, from December 2000 to June 2002, she was a Radio Host of a mid-day show; at Lite Rock 93.9 FM CIDR. Washburn joined Greater Media WCSX-FM as a Traffic Reporter and member of the morning show from January 2005 – June 2005. She joined WWJ-TV CBS Detroit as a Weather Anchor for First Forecast and First Forecast Mornings on CBS-62 and CW-50 in Detroit in April 2009. She left the station in January 2013.
