There have been some big lottery winners in South Florida recently, but someone who purchased a ticket in Cooper City for Wednesday night’s Lotto drawing by the Florida Lottery hit the jackpot — literally.

Only one ticket matched all six numbers that were drawn and it’s worth $6 million. According to the Florida Lottery, the ticket was purchased at the Publix supermarket at 5656 S. Flamingo Road. The ticket was bought using the computer-generated Quick Pick method.

The Florida Lotto numbers drawn Wednesday night were 2, 25, 31, 45, 52 and 53.

Other payouts from the drawing range from more than $32,000 to free tickets depending whether the buyer took part in the Xtra or ezmatch options.

Somebody’s big win comes just weeks after two South Floridians cashed in scratch-off tickets each worth $1 million and a Fantasy 5 ticket purchased in Pembroke Pines won a jackpot worth more than $215,000.
