How to Play Against Friends in MLB The Show 21
We’ve broken down the steps below. Obviously, for this to work, players will need at least one friend added to their friends list in-game—and one friend competitive to already own their own copy.
Here’s how to invite friends to play against you:
- Bring up the first main menu and find the “Friends” option.
- Once selected, scan the list to find the desired friend.
- Select said friend to prompt the relative drop-down menu.
- Hit “Invite to Exhibition Game.”
From there, the inviter or “Home team” can set specifics for the game before sending it off to the invitee or “Away team.”
Exhibitions aren’t the only way to play against friends. Two players can also engage in Diamond Dynasty from that specific mode and menu, as well as participate in Custom Leagues.
MLB The Show 21 is currently available for the Xbox One, Series S/X, and the PlayStation 4/5.
