How to Parry in Sifu
Parrying can be tricky to nail down in Sifu. It requires some pretty on-point timing in order to pull off effectively. It's also important to note that not every move can be blocked by a parry, so you'll need to gauge exactly when the appropriate times to use it are.
If playing on PlayStation, players will need to press the L1 button the moment your opponent is about to hit with their attack. Enemy limbs tend to light up when they're about to change attack position, which is a good indicator for timing your parry.
PC players will need to press the key assigned to the block button in order to attempt a parry.
A combination of dodges, well-timed blocks, and parries will be key in having a successful run. Naturally, with any roguelite, practice makes perfect so it might take a few attempts before you've got it nailed down.
