How to get a wet suit in Animal Crossing: New Horizons has never been easier.
With the release of Nintendo's latest update for its Switch console title, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, fans are finally able to treat themselves to a dip in the ocean surrounding their island. Patch 1.3.0 has now given players the opportunity to dive deep for treasures and creatures while enjoying some fun in the Sun. In the previous series title, New Leaf, in order to make a splash, players had to purchase and wear a wet suit. It appears that the mechanic has made quite the comeback.
Hi, everyone! It's Isabelle! It feels like it's been forever, doesn't it? Well, starting this month, I'll be taking charge of these Twitter posts for Mr. Nook. I promise I'll do my very best to support everyone here as well as at Resident Services. It's so nice to be back!

How to Get a Wet suit in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
The first thing to note when looking to activate the new update is that you may need to download and install it first—before opening the game. According to some players, the actual swimming function and wet suits may not become available until Isabelle talks about them in her morning announcement. While we cannot determine the veracity of this rumor, it's likely better safe than sorry.
The process of actually acquiring a wet suit is fairly straight forward. Players should receive a bit of mail from Tom Nook explaining that Nook's Cranny will now be carrying wet suits due to the determination that the water surrounding your island is "safe for swimming."
Despite the wetsuit technically counting as clothing, you won't find it at the Able Sisters' shop. It can only be purchased from the NookStop kiosk in your Resident Services building or through Timmy and Tommy in the cabinet of Nook's Cranny. Like other tools, the design of the wet suit will likely change from day to day.
From here, all you need to do is equip the suit and start your adventure.
