How to Defeat the Noon Wraith

Witcher 3's Devil by the Well contract is one of the first side quests players can finish in White Orchard. As the starting zone for players, the area only has twelve available quests, but the Devil by the Well is by far the hardest. As with many of the Witcher contracts, the monster can be difficult without the right set up.

As with all wraiths, you have to use certain items or signs to do damage to the wraith. Otherwise your damage will be nullified.

If you want to make it even easier, make use of items like Moon Dust and Dimeritium Bombs and Specter Oil. You can also use your Yrden sign. All of these items or spells will give you an advantage on the enemy.

Watch out for the Wraith to disappear and appear behind you and attack three times. Make sure to dodge the three attacks then go in for a few strikes. Just rinse and repeat and you'll defeat the Wraith.

As with many of the contracts at the start, you won't have many of the items, so it may be worth farming the materials for the bombs and oil before going in for the fight.
