How Long is Resident Evil 3?
The game has taken most players roughly six hours to complete on normal difficulty. Going for all the collectibles seems to take about 11 hours. The replay value is also scarce, as much of the branching story options were cut. The game is only slightly longer than the original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, even with the cut content.
With the removal of the Live Selection system, the multiples endings are not to be found in the remake. Exploration has also been toned down, making for a fairly linear experience without much opportunity to look for secrets.
Nemesis was also a point of contention. Despite being featured heavily in the game, he did not take the charm that Mr. X had in the Resident Evil 2 remake. Capcom made the decision to only feature him in scripted cutscenes or boss fights, rather than chase you as a recurring enemy like in the original.
Resident Evil 3 is out now for PS4, Xbox and PC.
