Spiced Spiked Almond Milk

Spike your almond milk with spicy liquors for the ultimate comfort and buzz this Rosh Hashanah.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ready Time: 5 minutes

Servings: 1

Ingredients:

1/3 oz. almond liqueur

1/3 oz. cinnamon liqueur

1/3 oz. almond milk

Directions:

Blend and chill by shaking ingredients in a martini shaker with ice. Strain/pour into a decorative shot glass. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.

Pomegranate Strawberry Daiquiri

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries, sliced

3/4 cup Morad pomegranate wine

4 shots/ounces light rum

Mint leaves for garnish

Ice

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a blender. Fill with 1-2 cups of ice and blend well. Serve in margarita glasses.

Pomegranate Sangria

Another recipe using Morad pomegranate wine is pomegranate sangria. This recipe is made extra strong with your favorite vodka. Add any seasonal fruits and enjoy.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Chill Time: 1 hour

Ready Time: 1 hour, 10 minutes

Servings: 4-6

Ingredients:

1 bottle chilled Morad Danue pomegranate wine

1/2 bottle of Pellegrino sparkling water

1/2 cup of vodka to taste

Juice of 1 fresh-squeezed lemon and 1 fresh-squeezed lime

1 sliced apple

Directions:

Pour the wine, sparkling water, and vodka in a large pitcher. Add juice of 1 fresh squeezed-lemon and 1 lime. Add 1 sliced apple. Mix and refrigerate until served. Add ice cubes just before serving.

Fall Bourbon Cocktail

Infuse fall flavors and colors into a bourbon cocktail, or leave out the bourbon and enjoy the flavors as a cocktail for a festive evening.

Ingredients:

1 oz. bourbon

1 to 2 oz. pure pomegranate juice

Ginger ale

Pomegranate seeds

Fresh wholes figs (or dates)

Directions:

Fill a tall glass with ice. Build the drink by adding the bourbon, then the juice, then filling with ginger ale. Stir. Top with fresh shaved ginger and pomegranate seeds.

Hot Hard Apple Cider

Spike some hot apple cider with apple brandy, or just mix it up without the alcohol and serve to the whole family.

Ingredients:

1 oz. apple brandy

1 cup unfiltered apple cider

Juice of 1/4 lemon

1 teaspoon honey

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a small pot, and warm over low flame until the honey melts and the mixture starts to simmer. Pour into a tempered mug (if you have glass, it looks really pretty) and serve with lemon peel curls and a cinnamon stick.
