People who knew me in high school thought I was: Reserved. I wasn’t interested in being a cheerleader and getting drunk with the football team.

My most irrational act: I was in Paris at the airport, ready to go home, and instead, I left my luggage in storage and bought a one-way ticket to Tel Aviv, where I knew no one. I wound up spending three weeks hitchhiking, scuba diving in the Red Sea and staying with Bedouins. It was an amazing time.
