Gino Donatelli Obituary, Death Cause – The Jesuit community is in mourning today at the passing of Father Gino Donatelli, SJ, a committed priest who devoted his entire life to serving the needs of others. Father Donatelli, who was 78 years old and had been hospitalized since the previous Friday, passed away in a tranquil manner, leaving behind a legacy that was characterized by compassion, faith, and service. Colombiere Center, the Jesuit Residence, which can be found at 9075 Big Lake Road, Clarkston, Michigan 48346, will be the location of the funeral ceremonies that will be held to celebrate the life of Father Donatelli.
All members of the community are cordially asked to pay their respects at the visitation that will take place on Sunday, December 3, from 4 to 7 pm, and then a vigil will take place at 7 pm. Monday, December 4, at 10:30 in the morning, is the day that the Funeral Mass will be held. Father Gino Donatelli was well-known for his uncompromising dedication to his priestly duties. He had a profound impact on the lives of a great number of people by providing pastoral care, spiritual guidance, and compassionate presence.
