Gary Goben is the Senior Apparel Designer for QVC’s most successful proprietary brand – Denim and Company.

- It is hard to delve into the childhood years of Gary because he has revealed little details in his media interactions.
- For his education, Goben graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s degree in Science in Fashion Design and Merchandising. He also attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. He is also an alumnus of Baruch College.

- Goben always had an inner desire to unleash the creative talent inside him. This desire pushed him to excel in a field that he truly loved. - After graduating from college, Gary was the designer at Dawn Joy Inc. from 1995-1997. Working his way up the ladder, he managed to acquire the position of Head Designer and Merchandiser at Betsy and Adam Ltd. in 1997. His previous work experience helped his career progress, and his designs came to draw major critical acclaim from various fashion houses.
- He worked at Betsy and Adam Ltd. for seven years before moving on to become the Creative Director at Multi-Group Inc. in New York, where his job was to supervise all departments in connection with the design process. He also was regularly in contact with overseas clients and manufacturers.
- Since 2006, Gary is the Senior Designer (Apparel, Print Design, and Trend Development) at QVC (the flagship shopping channel owned by the Qurate Retail Group). Goben handles the largest proprietary brand – Denim & Co. Its brand extensions include Beach, Essentials, Studio, and Active.
- With a team of six direct reports, Gary manages the design and development process for all lines and regularly makes presentations to buyers and his executive superiors. As the acting Trend Manager, he also works closely with the Merchandising team to ensure that all products are on-trend and aligned with the brand’s vision.
