Fortnite v13.40 Leaked Skins and Cosmetics

Fortnite v13.40 released Aug. 5 and brought the highly-anticipated Joy Ride cars to the game. While there were several new features added to the game today, data miner Lucas7Yoshi has leaked the rewards set to roll out over the course of the rest of the season. The leak includes more than 30 skins, back blings, gliders, and emotes.

The rest of the season seems to feature three new epic skins and one placeholder that has not been leaked yet. Castaway Jonsey and Crustina will make their way back to the item shop at some point this season and Mecha Team Shadow is a nice callback to Season X. The skin reads "shadow assembly required" and its unclear if it will have some sort of upgrade process. Each of the epic skins appear to have a matching back bling, also of epic quality. The Shadow Jet Set seems to match with the Mecha Team Shadow skin as well.

The leak also includes four new emotes including an epic, a rare, and two commons. In addition to the emotes, several new pickaxes have been leaked and several of them match with skins to form a set. A "Hulk Smashers" pickaxe was leaked that features a set of hands that resemble either Hulk or Iron Man from the Marvel Universe.

While we have images of the leaks, it's important to remember that Epic Games has not confirmed any of the information, and it is subject to change. It is unclear when we will see these items release, though it's widely expected that they will all be available sometime this season.
