A Fortnite leak reveals a copy of a popular Minecraft Feature in Season Five.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 has introduced a ton of new content into popular Battle Royale. One of those biggest additions into the season is the NPCs. Fortnite players can locate the NPCs throughout the map to pick up quests, bounties on opponents, and earn Gold Bars that can be exchanged for upgraded or Exotic Weapons.

We might get more NPC services where they buy loot from you or spawn 1 supply drop for 600 gold!

Fortnite Leak Reveals Copy of Popular Minecraft Feature in Season Five

Now thanks to reputable Fortnite Leaker, Hypex, we know that Epic Games might have more in store for the NPCs throughout Season Five.

This is similar to Minecraft where players can sell their items to villagers and receive emeralds in return. It would be game-changing if Fortnite players were able to exchange weapons to NPCs in exchange for Gold Bars that they could use to upgrade other weapons in their inventory.

The aspect of buying a supply drop for 600 gold would also be fascinating. 600 Gold seems like a fair price for such a significant return.

Neither of these appear to have an effect on competitive gameplay, where the Gold Bars reset in every Arena Match.

We do not have a clear timeline on when Epic Games plans to introduce these adjustments into Fortnite, and there is always the possibility that they scrap the ideas entirely, but typically Hypex is on his game and does not lead the community down the wrong path too often.
