Because of fabulous weather — well, most of the time — here in the subtropics, South Florida has quite a few farmers’ markets.
Here is a breakdown of the farmers’ markets in Palm Beach and Broward counties (make sure you keep coming back as we will add to the list as info comes in).
Mizner Park Green Market
What: The al fresco shopping/dining/entertainment center that serves as a sort of unofficial “downtown” for Boca Raton will hold its Green Market every Sunday at the south end with a produce section as well as local vendors offering foods, breads, jams, jellies, honeys, etc.
When: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sundays

Yellow Green Farmers Market
What: Hollywood’s popular open-air shopping venue reopened after a multimillion-dollar makeover. And, in 2022, there are more upgrades to come, such as a food hall with 30 restaurant vendors called The Station and retail warehouse with antiques and collectibles that will be called The Nest.
When: 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Where: 1940 N. 30th Road, Hollywood.
Parking: There are two lots. The North lot charges a $10 flat rate all-day. The South lot charges $10 for every three hours.

Lake Worth Beach Farmers Market
What: This green market originated in the lower parking lot of the Lake Worth Beach Casino before moving to Old Bridge Park, that sliver of land that juts out into the Intracoastal Waterway.
When: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays.
Where: Lake Worth Beach Casino Building and Beach Complex, 1973 Lake Ave., Lake Worth (alongside the bridge between Lake Worth and the island of Lake Worth Beach). You can also use the address 1 South Ocean Blvd., Lake Worth Beach, in your map apps or mapping services.
Parking: The site is a parking lot that is free during the market.

Lakeside Market at Wellington Town Center
What: You may remember this market when it was called Twilight Green Market at Wellington. It is still staged along the promenade on Lake Wellington waterfront, directly behind the community center. And you can still shop for locally-sourced produce, baked goods, homemade gourmet foods, plant-based/vegetarian dishes, herbs, spices, flowers, arts/crafts, jewelry and clothing. There is also often free entertainment at the adjacent Wellington Amphitheater.

Delray Beach GreenMarket
What: This is a staple of the downtown Delray Beach scene.
When: 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays
Where: The front lawn of the Cornell Museum of Art @ Old School Square, 51 N. Swinton Ave., Delray Beach
Parking: The city parking garage is located on campus and is free until 4 p.m.

Las Olas Oceanside Park Farmers, Antique and Artisan Market
What: This market is right there on the Strip at Fort Lauderdale beach where Las Olas Boulevard meets A1A.
When: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays.
Where: Las Olas Oceanside Park, 3000 E. Las Olas Boulevard (at A1A on Fort Lauderdale beach).
Parking: Lots, street and garage parking in the area cost around $4 and hour to $10 all day.

Green Market Pompano Beach
What: Last year the Green Market Pompano Beach moved to a new location, the Pompano Beach Cultural Center.
When: 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on the second and fourth Saturday of each month

Coconut Creek Farmers Market
What: . You can expect vendors with fare such as baked goods, beverages, international cheeses, produce, plants, jewelry, art and ready-to-eat prepared meals.

Where: Township Plaza, 4400 W. Sample Road, Coconut Creek (on the corner of West Sample and Lyons roads).

Parkland Farmers Market
What: This al fresco market bills itself as the largest outdoor farmers’ market in Broward County with more than 100 vendors every year since it first started in 2006. Make sure you check out the specialty fairs that are concurrent to some of the Parkland Farmers Market dates.

Swank Farm Farmers Market
What: This market started about six years ago as a sort of extension of the green market season in Palm Beach County. When those markets would begin shutting down in April, Darrin and Jodi Swank of Swank Specialty Produce would open their farm for an additional pop-up market for six or seven additional weeks before shutting down for the summer months.
When: 10-1 p.m. Saturdays.

Plantation Farmers Market
What: This green market includes a wide variety of vendors ranging from fruits, vegetables and florals to fish, barbecue, soups and empanadas. There are also usually booths for leather bags, jewelry, soaps and lotions.
When: Every Saturday, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Where: Volunteer Park, 12050 W. Sunrise Blvd., Plantation.

Tamarac Community Farmers Market
What: Sitting alongside the Cypress Creek Greenway and the C14 canal, this market is usually open year round and includes vendorsfor produce, baked goods, teas, jams, pickles, barbecue, Indian food, ceviche, candles, soaps and jewelry.
When: Every Sunday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Where: Tamarac Veterans’ Park, 7825 Southgate Blvd., Tamarac.
Parking: There is a small free parking lot with additional free parking nearby at the Gary B. Jones Dog Park.

West Palm Beach GreenMarket
What: This is a big farmer’s market with usually around 90 vendors and annually brings in between $3.8 and $4.6 million dollars to the local economy, according to a pre-pandemic survey by Radius Global Market Research.
When: Saturdays, 9 a.m.-1 p.m..
Where: The Great Lawn at 101 S. Clematis St., West Palm Beach (at Clematis Street and Flagler Drive).
Parking: First two hours of parking are free when entering city garages before noon and cost a flat rate of $5 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

TikiMarket at the Marina
What: This TikiMarket bills itself as a green market with a party vibe because there’s music going on along with the stands of fruits, vegetables, juices, breakfast items as well as prepared dishes such as jerk chicken, barbecue and conch fritters. There’s also plenty of tropical fashion – tees, hats, totes, jewelry, etc. And if the crowds are enthusiastic enough, TikiMarket has been known to keep the party going well past the announced quitting time.

Gardens 2 Go Food and Produce Market
What: This green market is known for the wide variety of produce and other items. In addition to a different live music act each Sunday, they will also have demonstrations, exhibits or GardensArt pop-up in the Market Spotlight Area. Pets are not allowed.
When: 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Sundays.

Royal Palm Beach Green Market and Bazaar
What: Expect to find locally grown plants and organic fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices. In addition to food trucks, there will also be vendors offering vegan dishes, fish and seafood, flowers, baked goods, locally-sourced honey, jewelry, handicrafts, clothing, soaps and pet treats.
