Low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines has awarded a $600,000 contract to the aviation department of Eulen America for cabin cleaning services at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International airport.
In a statement Tuesday, Miami-based Eulen America said the new contract will add 30 jobs to the Fort Lauderdale airport.
Eulen America provides outsourcing services in the aviation, maintenance, janitorial, landscaping and security sectors, according to the statement.
“We are delighted to expand our services with Spirit Airlines at FLL,” said Mark Stewart, Eulen America’s regional director of operations and performance. “Our team works diligently to ensure traveling customers are experiencing a safe and comfortable environment.”
Eulen America currently also handles wheelchair assistance, skycap and curbside baggage check-in services at the airport for the Miramar-based carrier.
The company also has the contract for the carrier’s ground handling services at Palm Beach International Airport.
Eulen America provides similar cabin cleaning services for Delta Airlines at the Fort Lauderdale airport. Other airline clients include American Airlines, Jet Blue and West Jet, the company said.
