Days Gone audio glitch is stripping the game of many of its environmental sounds, turning its world into an audio wasteland. The glitch negatively affects both immersion and gameplay, as it takes away crucial audio cues such as the noise of the player's bike and all of the Freakers' sounds. This can make Freakers all the more dangerous, letting them sneak up on players.
Here's how to fix this frustrating glitch.
I've played Days Gone for maybe three hours now and experienced the audio bug twice. What is probably gonna end up being the worst game I play this year is easily the most annoying already.

Days Gone Audio Glitch: How to Fix it
Though Days Gone developer Bend Studio has yet to comment on the bug at all, players have begun theorizing about what causes it. It may be tied to pressing the gas while riding the motorcycle, but without studio confirmation it's hard to know for sure.
Unfortunately for players looking to quickly regain the missing audio, the only known fix right now is to completely restart the game. Furthermore, there's no guarantee against the glitch simply recurring. Until Bend Studio takes action, this will be the only workaround.
