1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup rice wine vinegar

1/4 cup water

2 teaspoons sugar

2 teaspoons fresh ginger, peeled, grated fine

2 teaspoons sesame oil

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and use a wire whisk to whisk until sugar has dissolved. If not serving at once, place into a shaker container with lid. Shake to combine before pouring into a shallow dipping bowl.

Serve with seared tuna, or grilled beef, pork or chicken.

Makes approximately 2/3 cup sauce.
