Boomer Esiason is a well-known American sports analyst and previous American football quarterback who played for 14 seasons, primarily with the Cincinnati Bengals in the National Football League (NFL).

As of now, Boomer works for CBS Sports on The NFL Today and Showtimes Inside the NFL as a football analyst. Prior to that, Esiason served with HBO, ABC, as well as Westwood One. He also serves as the host of Gio on WFAN in New York.

He is married to his beautiful wife called Cheryl Esiason. The duo married in 1986 and has two children Gunnar and Sydney. Their daughter is married to New York Islanders forward Matt Martin. He was notified while at a Jets mini-camp in 1993 that his two-year-old son Gunnar had to be taken to the hospital with breathing difficulties.

Following the firing of Don Imus in April 2007,  CBS Radio gave Esiason a one-week “try-out” as Imus’ replacement on WFAN. On August 13, CBS Radio reported Him as the permanent host with radio veteran Craig Carton joining as co-host.

Boomer and Craig officially started on September 4, 2007. Being an analyst with Westwood One, He would do the Monday morning show, travel back to New York in time to do the Tuesday morning show, and travel to do the Monday Night Football game.
