Overwatch PTR Patch Notes: Biggest Changes From Jan. 14 Update

Most of the changes focused on bugs, but an interesting new gimmick is also being introduced into the replay system. The heroes Reaper and Zenyatta had a sound and animation bug fixed. Reaper's hit volume will no longer become out of sync when he is frozen during his ultimate ability. As for Zenyatta, his Toybot skin won't cause an animation issue to occur when he's casting orbs anymore. They also fixed a bug that caused the chat feed to not properly show when a real ID friend request had been accepted.

New Replay Viewer Fine-Grained Playback Controls

slow-motionOverwatch has added a new addition to its replay system with its "fine-grained" playback controls. Compared to the usual replay controls, these new controls will allow players to increase and decrease the playback speed in smaller increments, from 0.10x to 1.00x, compared to the previous 0.25x increment. The controls will also allow players to hold the "Move Slow" binding while increasing or decreasing speeds to change the playback speed acceleration. The new controls should allow players s to capture impressive slow motion shots of their highlights!
