Gibbs previously worked for WTVQ in Lexington, Kentucky as the morning news anchor. Afterward, she also moved to Roanoke, Virginia where she worked for WSLS-TV as a co-anchor of the 6 and 11 newscasts on Channel 10. She spent two years at WSLS News before her departure.
