Arnab Goswami presently works for Republic Media Network as the managing director and editor-in-chief. Previously, he served at Times Now and ET Now, from 2006 to 2016 as the editor-in-chief and a news anchor. Before that, he worked at NDTV and The Telegraph.
In addition, he worked as an anchor on Times Now, he anchored The Newshour, a live debate at 9 pm (IST) on weekdays, which led him to widespread fame. Also, he worked on a special television program Frankly Speaking with Arnab as the host. He resigned as editor-in-chief of Times Now in November 2016. In May 2017, his news channel Republic TV was launched.
He began his career as a journalist working at The Telegraph in Kolkata, he then went to Delhi and joined NDTV after a year. From 1996 to 2006, he was a part of NDTV. During his time here, he anchored daily newscasts including News Tonight, a program telecast on DD Metro. In the 2004 Asian Television Awards, the Newsnight, hosted by Goswami, won him an award for the Best News Anchor.
