STK Miami

This New York City-based luxury steakhouse chain has unveiled a downtown location in the new ME Miami hotel, a year after reopening in Miami Beach.

The downtown branch debuts a lighter, more casual, black-and-white design with soaring windows – a departure from the chain’s darker nightclub vibe. An art-centric atmosphere incorporates splashes of color with geometric, pixelated patterns, enhancing gold-wire cluster lighting and neon wall installations.

“With many of our upcoming openings in cities such as San Diego and Denver, we plan to utilize some of these updated design features we are launching in Miami,” CEO Jonathan Segal says.

Another departure is lunch service in the fall. Until then, dinner is served nightly.

“Since daytime dining offerings in our immediate area are currently limited, we feel STK Miami will fill a void for those who work and live downtown,” Segal says.

New dishes include kale Caesar salad ($15), shaved Brussels sprouts with goat cheese ($15), king salmon with spiced yogurt and herb salad ($29), supplementing signatures of sweet corn pudding ($12) and 11 steaks, such as bone-in filet ($57) and porterhouse for two ($64, $92).

A DJ spins most nights of the week.
