My Project

In Season 2 Episode 6 on Abbot Elementary, for those that do not know, the students become hyperactive as a result of a lone student crusader who spread candy to the student masses. Not just a little, but a lot to the point where the students are hyperactive with candy. Now imagine a student who is hyperactive without candy.

Many students are unique and have different needs.

I have come across many students who need movement to relieve their need of motion. In fact, their inability to move around to a higher degree may result in actions that disturb the class or prohibit them from learning. Over the years, I have gathered equipment of fidget toys and equipment that allows them to move to relieve their hyper-activeness. The rocker I am requesting will be added to my eroding and fading arsenal of fidget/hyperactive relief. Students need a selection of fidget toys/hyperactive relief. I believe once the rockers are attained I will have enough equipment( for fidget/hyperactive relief) to switch out for students, so it is not a norm( if not nothing else breaks).

The pencils are for the hyperactive students in my class. They have their own pencil box as the pencils they use tend to have bite marks, broken in half, or eraser chewed off. Their own box allows them to take responsibility and not be able to pass blame to anyone else. Ever since I have isolated them, I have not had to replenish that many pencils out of my own pocket. They are due for new pencils.
